7:30 PM MEETING CALLED TO ORDER
PRESENT: CARL FUEHRING, PETE WOOD, HELEN LEFLER, ANITA
FOSTER, AVERY WILSON, STEVE MARCINIAK, LEO
TERRYN.
MINUTES OF THE APRIL 24, 2001 MEETING WERE APPROVED AS WRITTEN ON A MOTION BY CARL AND SUPPORTED BY STEVE, ALL AYE.
PROPOSED BUILDING SITE PLAN FOR SILVER LAKE BUGGY RENTALS-
THEY NOW SELL T-SHIRTS AND NOVELTIES AND RENT BUGGIES. THEY NEED TO INSTALL A CATCH BASIN ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE LOT AND WANT TO MOVE AN EXISTING 24'X24' POLE BUILDING TO 20' FROM THE NORTH SIDE OF HIS EXISTING BUILDING. THE MOVED BUILDING IS FOR STORAGE ONLY.
CARL ASKED IF THE PLANNING COMMISSION COULD STIPULATE THAT IT IS DEFINITELY FOR STORAGE ONLY. JAKE ADVISED YES.
CARL MOTIONED ACCORDING TO SECT. 12.11 OT THE ZONING ORDINANCE THAT THE SITE PLAN BE APPROVED, AVERY SUPPORTED THE MOTION, ALL AYE, MOTION PASSED.
JAKS SITE PLAN- PRESENTED BY DAN SCHOLTEN.
HELEN COMMENTED THAT ON THE MARCH SITE PLAN A FENCED IN STORAGE AREA WAS SHOWN AND WANTED TO KNOW IF THAT WAS TO BE ELIMINATED AND WAS THERE A TREE BERM? YES THERE IS ALONG TAYLOR RD. THEY WILL START WITH THE MOST EASTERN BUILDING AND ASPHALT FROM THE BUILDING OUT 50'. CARL ASKED ABOUT INGRESS AND EGRESS. THAT IS SHOWN ON THE NEW SITE PLAN.
HELEN ASKED ABOUT AN EAST FENCE-- NO EAST FENCE.
CARL ASKED ABOUT AN ENTRANCE OFF FROM 34TH AVE.-- THERE WILL BE NO ENTRANCE THERE. CARL FEELS THERE SHOULD BE A TIME LINE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE 621' WALL, WITH-IN A YEAR AND A HALF AND THAT A 6' TALL FENCE WOULD BE SUFFICIENT.
CARL MOTIONED TO APPROVE THE SITE PLAN ACCORDING TO SECT.12.11 WITH THE STIPULATION OF A MINIMUM 6' TALL FENCE OF EITHER CEMENT BLOCK OR CHAIN LINK. PETE SUPPORTED THE MOTION IF AT THE JULY MEETING A TAYLOR RD. BERM IS SHOWN AND TELL WHAT PARKING SURFACE WILL BE USE, STATE THAT SIGNS WILL BE ON THE BUILDING ONLY, AND THE WATER FLOW AND DRAINAGE IS SHOWN.
HELEN ASKED ABOUT DRAINAGE, POWER, WATER AND SEWER. ALL LIGHTS NEED TO BE SHOWN.
STEVE ASKED IF THEY COULD HAVE GRAVEL PARKING, JAKE RESPONDED IT HAS TO BE DUST FREE.
ALL AYE MOTION PASSED.
JETT'S LANDING- THEY WANT TO BUILD A 8X43' BACK ROOM ON THE STORE FOR STORAGE AND ADD A ROOM 10'X25' BETWEEN THE TRAILER AND BREEZEWAY AND A ROOF OVER THE PATIO PLUS ADD A DECK ON THE WEST END OF THE BREEZEWAY THAT PART IS RESIDENTIAL.
AVERY MOTIONED TO APPROVE, CARL SUPPORTED, ALL AYE .
RV FORMS-JAKE AND HELEN NOTED THAT 2479 FORMS WERE MAILED, HE RECEIVED ABOUT 3000 CALLS/ FEEL THAT IT WAS A VERY GOOD RESPONSE NUMBER WISE AND HAD POSITIVE RESPONSES. JAKE HAS SUBMITTED 3 JUNK VIOLATIONS TO THE PROSECUTOR, WITH NO RESPONSE YET.
